2. What data we process, why, and on which legal basis

a) Early-access and service requests.

  • Data: name, work email, company, your team profile, the service you are interested in and, if you write one, your message.
  • Purpose: to reply to your request, assess whether you fit the Periplo Cloud pilot programme or the "first loom project" service, and hold the conversations that precede a possible contract.
  • Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR art. 6.1.b).
  • Required fields: they are needed to handle your request. Without them we cannot reply.

We do not use this data to send you marketing. If we ever wanted to, we would first ask for your explicit consent.

b) Form security.

  • Data: your IP address, pseudonymised with a keyed hash (HMAC-SHA-256), and the time of each submission.
  • Purpose: to limit submissions per connection and prevent abuse and spam.
  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the service and our inbox (GDPR art. 6.1.f). It is minimal processing that does not identify you directly and is not combined with other data.

c) Server logs.

  • Data: IP address, date and time, requested page and browser details, which the server records automatically on each visit.
  • Purpose: to serve the website, keep it secure and diagnose errors.
  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the website securely (GDPR art. 6.1.f).

We make no automated decisions and build no profiles with your data (GDPR art. 22).

3. How long we keep data

  • Requests: while we handle your request and, if no agreement follows, for at most 12 months from our last contact. If you become a customer, for the duration of the contract.
  • Pseudonymised IP: deleted once an hour has passed, by a scheduled task that runs every 15 minutes.
  • Server logs: for the period our hosting provider sets for service security.

When these periods end, the data is deleted. We only keep it blocked, available to courts and authorities, for the limitation periods of any liability arising from the processing (LOPDGDD art. 32).

4. Who else accesses the data

We do not share your data with third parties unless the law requires it. We use one processor, which only handles data on our instructions and under a contract that meets GDPR art. 28:

  • Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus, EU): website and email hosting. Servers located in[pending: server location in hPanel].

Hostinger is established in the European Union. If any of its sub-processors handled data outside the European Economic Area, it does so with the safeguards of GDPR chapter V, through the European Commission's standard contractual clauses included in its data processing addendum. We do not send your data to any other country.

5. Cookies

This website sets no cookies and uses no similar tracking, analytics or advertising technologies. Fonts are served from our own server, without contacting third parties. That is why we show no cookie notice.

6. Your rights

You can exercise the rights the GDPR gives you at any time, free of charge:

  • Access: know whether we process your data and get a copy.
  • Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure: ask us to delete your data.
  • Objection: object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
  • Restriction: ask us to stop using your data while a complaint is resolved.
  • Portability: receive the data you gave us in a structured format.

Write to info@massivedatascope.info stating which right you want to exercise. We will reply within one month, extendable by two more months for complex requests (GDPR art. 12). If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may ask for additional information to confirm it.

If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or the authority of your country. We would appreciate it if you wrote to us first so we can try to resolve it.

7. Minors

The website and the form are aimed at professionals. We do not knowingly process data of children under 14 (LOPDGDD art. 7). If we find that a minor has given us their data, we will delete it.

8. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk (GDPR art. 32): the website is served over HTTPS, the form validates input and limits submissions, and access to the mailbox is restricted to our team.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our processing or the law changes. We always show the date of the last update at the top of the page and, if a change is significant, we will tell the people who have given us their data.
